Studies from Nancy Crow's class.

Here I worked with a motif, exploring different ways of using it in composition.

In the first study I created a texture by using my motif made on a very small scale with a highly graphic use of color.

In the second the idea was to make a gradation of size.

In the third I was using fabrics in different warm and cold colors that are very close to each other in value to get a flat surface.

You may have noticed that I used the same motif before in "Glass" (see Gallery 3).
